The following is a poem I was inspired to write. I am not a professional poet but I thought it could be an encouragement to believers...
Title: What Shall We Fear?
Where is the sting that death supplies?
Will it be present in the heavenly skies?
We do not survive on our own
For sin dwells within our bones
In this life that we have only known
We live by the promised atone
Grace embraces and sin dies
At the closing of our eyes
Life vaporizes in the wind
But when we die our life begins
Faith dwells from within
Leading us straight to Him
Death's destruction is very wide
But we are on the winning side
I Corinthians 15:55-57
O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory? The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law. But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Glory to God,
Todd
